BOWLS
The Bowls section is fortunate to have a bowling green from which players can enjoy some breathtaking views of Budleigh Salterton and Lyme Bay. We have a roll-up at 2pm every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the playing season which normally runs from late April to late September.
In these roll-ups we play mixed social bowls which gives all members a chance to meet each other. We also have a series of internal competitions to maintain competitive edge. The competition season culminates in the Evans Cup which is an all-day event with 36 competitors. This year the Cup was won by Jean Walker and Tom Handley.
Throughout the winter we have a social meeting for tea on the first Thursday of each month and in addition we hold several other social events throughout the year.
